As a mom you always want and expect that, when you have a child, he or she will be perfect, and nothing will go wrong. With my first born that was the case. She was just what a newborn, infant, and toddler should be. With my second one, however, we immediately saw signs after birth that something was off.

Time for a confession: when I first read that “One Man’s Dream” was re-opening at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, I thought: What? Where?

Yes, it’s true. I have never seen “One Man’s Dream.” But after reading about it, you can be certain that I’ll be visiting the very next time that I step into Hollywood Studios before I pass go, or collect my Brown Derby Cobb Salad.

The 14-storey, 323-room property is the latest property to be part of the $1bn global relaunch of the Holiday Inn brand.

Holiday Inn regional vice-president of operations and general manager Tony Johnson said: "Our opening could not come at a better time, with a brand that customers know and trust."

Whether you spend your day racing from one place to another, or rambling through all that has been provided for your senses, there will come a time when you may wish to break away to a quiet place. You will want a place that is not too crowded. If you happen to be on the World Showcase, I recommend China.

There I was on a dark lonely night with nothing to do, no where to go, and nobody was home. I turned on the television and there was nothing on but repeats, bad movies, and Oprah. That’s when I decided it was time to do something a little different. So I climbed into my attic to retrieve some of my most valued possessions. That’s right, my comic books!

There are a lot of reasons to stay on property when visiting Walt Disney World, not the least of which is you become immersed in a 24/7 Disney experience. Yes, it can be expensive, but it doesn’t have to be if you watch closely for the discounts and choose your resort wisely. There are times when I find myself wanting a little more out of the experience. You’re probably thinking, “don’t you get enough?” Truth is that, for me, there’s really never enough. As soon as I get back in my car to head home I’m already thinking about what I’ll do the next time I’m back, and when that will be. Then I start to think about how can I make the next visit that much better.

Sometimes the rooms that are in the Walt Disney World resorts just aren't exciting enough for guests. There's got to be something else that can be done in order to make the time spent in your room a little more enjoyable.
