Recently the Orlando City Council voted to increase the taxi rates. The first mile will now set you back $2.40, instead of $2.20. Each next quarter mile will cost you 60 cents instead of $0.55. This is the first increase in taxi fare from 2007. The prices are directly tied to the rate of inflation.

Though many guests coming to Walt Disney World and staying on property opt to use Disney's Magical Express for their transportation needs, sometimes it's easier and more convenient to hire a car and take a limo.

Oldies seem to like Deluxe Resorts. From experience, it seems they lean towards the Magic Kingdom Resorts, not necessarily for access to the park itself but for the numerous transportation options, dining options, and overall ambiance of their particular favorite. I can’t blame us (Oldies), we love them and stay at them regularly also.
