Pop Century Resort at Walt Disney World celebrates the decades from the 1950′s up through the 1990′s in everything from the guest buildings, the larger than life decor on the grounds, and in the lobby through displays and photographs. Let’s take a photographic walk back through time in the displays that you’ll find behind the check-in desk at Disney’s Pop Century Resort.

A couple of months ago we took you on a photo tour of the interactive queue that is now part of the Haunted Mansion. We walked back through the queue a couple of weeks ago and found it completely empty. It seems most folks are taking the short cut that leads directly to the stretching room. While I’m not sure if and when they close off the short cut, I wonder how many people use it instead of walking through the “graveyard”.

Pop Century Resort has been undergoing a room refurbishment in 2010. As of this writing, just one more building is being finished up. So odds are that if you're going to stay at Pop Century soon, you'll have an updated room! So what's been changed, and what can you look forward to?
