Nobody in our family has mobility issues & it's not out of laziness that I'd want a prefered room. If I was staying at value resorts again I'd always get the "preferred" because I like to be close to the action, I don't like feeling isolated or far away from anything. I prefer to walk out my door & have easy access to all common areas.
