Great, now I can get shut out of dining reservations even sooner than before!! LOL! ;)
It never fails ... we always call at the earliest time allowed by law and we NEVER get reservations. Everything is always booked. (Just like concert tickets on the day they "go on sale") We just recently "tried" to get reservations and were once again told that everything we wanted was booked. So believe it or not, we threatened to cancel our trip ... and suddenly tables were opening up like gifts on Christmas Day!!! There has to be a better method. Although I must admit there have been plenty of times that we have shown up at a restaurant where we could not get a reservation by phone ... and they took us anyway.
