Simply the best resource ever created for the Disney theme park obsessed person is E-Ticket magazine. The magazine has been lovingly produced since 1986 by brothers Leon and Jack Janzen. In 2003 Leon suddenly passed away but the magazine continued to trickle out an issue here and there until this past week. Issue #46 will be the final issue.

A new authentic Italian pizzeria will hold their grand opening on Aug. 5, 2010 in the Italy pavilion at Epcot. The Patina Restaurant Group will open the casual pizzeria called Via Napoli, adjacent to their Tutto Italia Ristorante.

Today, I have a different kind of July Fourth post for you. This is an issue of New West Magazine that came out on July 4, 1977....thirty four years ago. My mom subscribed to this magazine and I saved this issue because of the Space Mountain article inside......

The “E” Ticket magazine is, in my opinion, one of the best sources of information about the early days of Disneyland. The magazine was published between 1986 and 2009 by Leon and Jack Janzen.

As many fans of Walt Disney and Disneyland know, The E-Ticket was a magazine devoted to "collecting theme park memories". While the magazine is no longer published, it lives on in the hearts of its many devoted fans. Now, thanks to Diane Disney Miller, her family and the staff of the Museum, you have the chance to own a piece of this amazing history.

Reader and contributor Don Gworek recently sent us some photos of spots on the outside of Spaceship Earth at Epcot, so I headed out to check it out for myself and to see what else was new in the park.
