Kitson Kids, a store brand that caters to celebrities, opened its first Orange County store at Downtown Disney over the weekend.

By now, the Disney enthusiast in us all has seen the photographs of Marty Sklar’s retirement party, known as Martyland, and his window on Main Street. Presented here is a video of the remarkable ceremony.

On Thursday, July 16, the Disneyland Resort opened a new exhibit in the blue Sky Cellar inside Disney’s California Adventure. The main focus is the eagerly anticipated World of Color nighttime spectacle, scheduled to open in the Summer of 2010.

The Imagineers with a soft spot for the attraction began coming up with some new concepts to save the Hillbilly bruins. Among the considerations were a small flume type attraction and a silly roadrace. Ultimately, even the terrific "Critter Country 500" with its rending by Christopher Merritt, couldn't save the bears from a quick and out of place swap out with another little cub.
