It's time for Part 2 of Dapper Day at Disneyland which includes the "Island Escapades" meet-up over on Tom Sawyer Island (with a guest that dressed up as Becky Thatcher!) and the "Dapper Derby" meet-up at King Arthur's Carousel.

The second biannual "Dapper Day" was held at Disneyland last Friday. The basic idea for this "unofficial" park event is just to get dressed up, go to the park, and have fun.....

Walking through the gates of Frontierland, my one-track mind often turns to this opening day attraction. While the Mark Twain technically belongs to Frontierland, its unifying power is unlike any other attraction in the park. (Submarines, I’m looking at you.) As ridiculous as it might sound, out of all the things I love about the Mark Twain, its ability to live in two different lands with such grace and ease is my favorite.

...The Dapper Dans appeared out of nowhere and started serenading a couple. The young man got down on one knee and popped the question to his girlfriend. I’ll admit it: I’m a sucker for these things, and right then and there my mind was blown. This goes on all the time at Disney. Here are a few of my favorite Disney proposals:
