Disney recently began offering PhotoPass+, which is an enhanced version of the popular PhotoPass photography package available at Walt Disney World and Disneyland. PhotoPass+ includes the standard PhotoCD available for purchase from PhotoPass, with the “plus” parts of PhotoPass+ being on-ride and character dining photos taken at select locations at Walt Disney World and Disneyland.

In the Summer of 1956, Walt did a series of interviews with journalist Pete Martin for articles that would appear in the SATURDAY EVENING POST and later be combined into a book THE STORY OF WALT DISNEY. Here are Walt’s unedited thoughts about the business behind Disneyland:

Bill “Sully” Sullivan joined Disneyland as a nineteen year old on July 27, 1955 as a ticket taker on the Jungle Cruise attraction. He soon became a ride operator and then supervisor.

Today in Disney History, July 3rd (in the year 1967) the venerable Rocket Jets attraction opened in the New Tomorrowland expansion of 1967. It replaced the Old Tomorrowland Astro Jet attraction which opened on April 2, 1956

When we entered Disney California Adventure for the Cars Land preview, we had the option of stepping through a doorway in the construction walls to talk a stroll down brand-new Buena Vista Street. We couldn’t help but gasp as we discovered the transformation.
