It’s being reported on several sitesthat Walt Disney World areas – resorts, restaurants, lobbies, bus loading areas, pool areas – now have free wifi available.
This is great. And also not so great.

Bill “Sully” Sullivan joined Disneyland as a nineteen year old on July 27, 1955 as a ticket taker on the Jungle Cruise attraction. He soon became a ride operator and then supervisor.

Finally getting back to this October 1955 series and wrapping it up with a day in Frontierland. The Stagecoach is coming back to Frontierland after a wild journey through the unexplored paths of Nature's Wonderland.

When the expansion of the park is complete this summer, guests will have a total of eight themed lands to explore. With the addition of two new areas — Buena Vista Street and Cars Land — and slight changes to the names of some existing areas, the total number of themed lands will increase to eight!

I continue to walk through and talk about the design behind the lands. This time it is the Streets of America and Commissary Lane areas.

The barriers that separate man from beast at Disney’s Animal Kingdom are always imaginative ones. Rarely ever bars or simply glass keeping the two separate; they are nearly always interwoven into the areas storyline and often add to the overall theme of the exhibit.

With five highly-themed decades each claiming a different area of Pop Century Resort, it should be assumed that the pool areas are different too.

One of the most famous speeches to Disneyland fans may be Walt Disney's dedication speech from Opening Day, July 17, 1955. It's on a plaque at the base of the flag pole in Town Square. Part of it is shown during The Magic, The Memories, and You. Part of it is even tapped out in Morse Code at the Frontierland/New Orleans Square station of the Disneyland Railroad (more on that tidbit another time).
