The Grand California does have an entrance directly to the park, the original part of the hotel. The new wing does not have its own access, at this time, but some of the rooms do have an incredible view into the park and there will be an observation deck/spot on the top floor looking into the park and the view is great (I was able to go on a hard hat tour last month and see the views, no photos were allowed unfortunately).

There is an old park entrance near the new wing that was used for the Paradise Pier hotel, and its been closed for years now. One rumor is/was that once all the construction is finished that may re-open, but don't count on it any time soon.
