Weighing in on the debate: car hire in Orlando - when it is worth hiring a car and other options available.

For my premiere Five for Friday, I’m going to pick a selection of people that I’d like to see Disney hire. With all the brand madness driving Disney today, I think the actual creative types too often get left out of the equation. I’d much rather see Disney hiring exceptional talent than purchasing the rights to different properties; after all, the right kind of talent will create the great ideas from which franchises spring forth.

Though many guests coming to Walt Disney World and staying on property opt to use Disney's Magical Express for their transportation needs, sometimes it's easier and more convenient to hire a car and take a limo.

Real life is a real downer. You have to pay the bills. Put gas in the car. Hire a guy to trim your giant trees. Buy the groceries. Compensate the dog sitter. Hire another guy to make your grass green so that you can look your neighbors in the eye again. It all adds up to one big BLERG. Looking back at pictures we’ve taken on different trips to Walt Disney World is a great way to see how time has passed. Sometimes it’s fun to see how the park has changed, other times I love seeing how people have changed. And sometimes there's some sentimentality involved.
