Here are some of the many logos submitted for Eisner's 1993 Discovery Island logo contest.

Sadly, Discovery Island closed in 1999; its furry and feathered inhabitants were transferred to the new Animal Kingdom park. It still sits unused today, slowly rotting as the jungle takes it over. I, for one, blame the logo – curse you, logo!

We love that these TV commercials keep popping up on the web, and we can’t wait to see who the next batch of Disney Stars are who get selected to film commercials for the Disney Channel.
