The thing that totally sucks about applying for a job is that you may face rejection -- and depending on which industry you're looking to work in, that rejection may come in the form of a letter. Some rejection letters then become more popular than others, especially if the person being rejected turned out to be a famous author (see this NPR piece about that) or ... a woman.
