Now that Tangled (or Rapunzel, for the non hip-and-edgy among us) has hit theaters to great critical and financial success, hopefully everyone has taken a moment to congratulate the folks at Walt Disney Animation Studios, directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard, and most definitely and especially Glen Keane, who has spent most of the last decade trying to get this story to screen.

The first thing I need to say is I’m sorry to Bob Whitehill and Pixar/Disney. While cleaning up my laptop this holiday weekend, I came across my Toy Story 3 folder and realized I never posted the video interview I did with Whitehill (Pixar’s 3D Stereoscopic Artist) while at Pixar earlier this year. The video was in the media server, and I had written an intro, but for some reason it never got online. Again, sorry.

Ben Sherwood will succeed David Weston as president of ABC News, Disney announced on Friday.

Maybe I'm starry-eyed, but I don't think there's a problem at all. The Mouse has two animation studios, and it will work both brands, alternating Disney releases with Pixar releases. Seems much more like a plus than a minus to me.
