Disney Cruise Line’s stage shows bring passengers a touch of the Broadway musical to their cruise, offering family entertainment adapted from Disney and Disney-Pixar films. Such is the case with “Toy Story – The Musical” aboard the Disney Wonder.

Over at the Disney and More Blog, which you should check out quite often if don't btw, Alain has another post in his Toy Story Playland series. There are tons of great pics and videos to give you a sense as to what this new land looks and feels like at Walt Disney Studios Paris.

This week, Disneyland Paris opened the gates to the new Toy Story Playland, making it the first and only Toy Story themed land at any of the Disney Parks worldwide. The new land gives guests the perception they have been shrunk to the size of toys, using natural elements from the surrounding landscape combined with the talent and creativity of the Disney Imagineering team.

Disney is, of course, known for providing world-class entertainment so I was intrigued by how well its cruise-ship shows would rate (especially, because in my full-time job for the Sentinel I write about the performing arts and serve as theater critic.)

There were five principal shows during the cruise, and they were a mixed bag. Here’s how I’d rank them.
