At Disney's Hollywood Studios you can now see the newest addition to Disney's cast of Living Characters. Close on the heels of the addition of Remy from Ratatouille coming to life and appearing at Epcot's Les Chefs de France, Luxo Jr., an adorable desk lamp is now appearing at Disney's Hollywood Studios.

The schedule of events for the upcoming 2009 Food & Wine Festival brought about some noticeble changes from previous festivals. Most notably the Wine Seminars and the Culinary Demonstrations will now both charge $8 per person per session to attend. These events have been free with your admission to Epcot for the 13 previous Food & Wine Festivals.

On Oct. 1, 1971, exactly 38 years ago, Walt Disney World first opened to the public. The resort at the time featured just one theme park, the Magic Kingdom, and two hotels, the Polynesian Village Resort and the Contemporary Resort.

The moat draining around Cinderella Castle is now largely complete, with all the waterways around the hub now mostly empty. It's interesting to see how all of the waterways around Main Street USA, Cinderella Castle and Adventureland are linked.

The giant statues outside the store are amazing. Who can resist checking out more inside the store? There’s the family walking its dogs by one entrance, Brickley the sea serpent in the nearby lake, and bigger-than-life-size action figures near the play area.

While walking around Disney World last week I was keeping an eye out for some of the Valentines Day goodies Disney would be creating. Not many places had items out for Valentines Day yet which made me kinda sad. They did have a few displays of different items. Check them out here!
