Some vacationers take to the fresh water lakes to cool themselves off despite warnings to keep out. The reason for this warning is the high level of bacteria that flourishes in the hot summer weather when the lakes routinely reach 80 degrees or greater. The hot weather breeds amoeba that causes bacterial infections and unfortunately in some cases death.

Adventurer's Club Headed for Hong Kong?
Plans for expanding Hong Kong Disneyland, announced last month, have fans of Walt Disney World's shuttered Adventurers Club concerned. Why?
Among the details released for the Hong Kong expansion was the following tidbit about a new themed land called Mystic Point: "Guests can dine at the Adventurer's Club amid a vast collection of unusual artifacts from around the world or purchase exclusive curiosities and collectibles at the Archive Shop."

the next Disneyland Paris big E-Ticket will be the Ratatouille attraction! The queue line decor will put the guests on the rooftops of Paris with breathtaking height feeling, thanks to forced perspective. Guests will then be "reduced" to the size of Remy. Imagineers will build giant decor to give us the feeling that we are as small as a rat.

Not Your Ordinary Turnstile - Disney World Utilizes Finger Scanning Technology
Since September of 2006 Disney World has incorporated a finger scanning device as part of an attempt to eliminate ticket fraud and misuse.
The technology applied is quite amazing. It also allows for the Walt Disney World Resort to collect massive amounts of data to better understand their theme park guests and hopefully create a better experience.

Main Street, U.S.A. boasts many storefronts and little touches that make it look like a small town in early 20th century America. And many details are easy to miss. When you enter the park and pass under the train station, stick to the left a bit. Just to the left of them Emporium, you'll see a little door tucked away a bit with the unmistakable candy stripe barber pole outside.
