I just love old Disneyland Guides. They really spent some money and paid attention to this valuable keepsake. This was at a time that the Disney folks knew you would take this home, leave it on the table, and know that the brochure would be a constant reminder of the fun one can have during their visit.

Happy 38th Birthday To The Walt Disney World Resort!
The Walt Disney World Resort officially opened on October 1st, 1971. In honor of its birthday, we are going to look back to those opening days in 1971.
We have located two video clips from 1971 to share. One is from the Disney World Grand Opening TV broadcast that aired in Oct of 1971 and hte other is from a person who worked on the construction of the Resort and shares pictures from Sept. 1971.
