The Life of a Carousel in Progress
Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress is an oldie but goodie and one of Disney Geek Dad's favorite attractions in the Magic Kingdom. It is also an attraction steeped in history that goes beyond its current home in Tomorrowland.
It all started in the 1950’s with Walt Disney’s concept for the Carousel of Progress to coincide with his plans to expand Disneyland’s Main Street USA.

Springtime in the Carousel of Progress (Act 1)
Over the next few weeks we’re going to take you on a photo ride through the classic Carousel of Progress in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland. Originally created for the 1964 World’s Fair, the Carousel of Progress was updated and brought to the Magic Kingdom in 1975. It has been updated a handful of times since then to keep up with the ever changing times we live in (which is exactly what the attraction is about).

Weekend Rememberances
In this post, I reflect on some of the things at Walt Disney World that I like the most -- mainly, the things that bring me back to a time when the world moved at a slower pace than it does today. I hope you enjoy!
