Disney filed notices to start construction of Cinderella’s Chateau, Belle’s Village and Aurora’s Cottage. The company also filed notices to build a new restaurant (presumably the Be Our Guest restaurant or Gaston’s Tavern in the Beauty and the Beast area) and a gift shop in the same area.

One thing our family likes to do, well at least I like to do is take the boat and ferry transportation at Walt Disney World. It is a great way to sit down and relax before you head into the park, or as you are leaving for lunch or the day. While no where near as popular as the bus or the monorail it is still a great way to enjoy being at Disney.

Disney themselves seem loathe to admit what they were up to, back in the early 70’s, which is a shame because the armchair Disney historian may be surprised to learn of the ways the company was actually working towards that goal – on a perhaps more realistic scale.
