An employee of the Disney owned Buena Vista Construction Company was working on providing power to a stage outside the entrance to the ESPN Wide World of Sports complex when he suffered severe injuries by electric shock. The worker died later at the hospital.

An electrician employed with a Disney subsidiary was shocked — and later died — today while working near am electrical transformer at Disney’s ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.
Steven Snyder, 50, of Davenport, was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Celebration Hospital. His name has not been made public.
The Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Osceola County Sheriff’s detectives are investigating
