Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room at the Walt Disney World Resort has origins that go back to 1963 when the original version of this attraction was added to Disneyland. The Enchanted Tiki Room created quite a stir since it was the first attraction to feature the Disney invented Audio Animatronic figures.

The “new management” has been let go and the future of the Adventureland landmark is in the wings and wit of José, Fritz, Michael and Pierre – four crooning parrot hosts who ushered in sophisticated Audio-Animatronics technology at California’s Disneyland in 1963 at The Enchanted Tiki Room. In time for fall 2011 vacations, Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room is being prepared to pay tribute to the original Disneyland show.

Walt Disney Imagineering announced earlier today at D23’s Destination D: Walt Disney World 40th event that The Enchanted Tiki Room (Under New Management) at Magic Kingdom Park is already undergoing changes behind closed doors that will reshape the attraction into a version reminiscent of the original show.
