Grauman’s Chinese Theater
What better place to house an attraction based on the movies than inside an actual movie theater? The building for The Great Movie Ride attraction is based on the Grauman’s Chinese Theater in Hollywood, which opened back in 1927. The theater serves as a first run movie theater and also hosted several Academy Awards ceremonies back in the 1940s.
