Universal's Mardi Gras: John Stamos to join Beach Boys in concert
The Beach Boys’ appearance at Universal’s Mardi Gras will have a special guest this Saturday. It’s John Stamos, the actor who has performed sporadically with the group for more than 20 years. In 1988, he appeared (on congas) in the group’s video for “Kokomo” and just this week he played drums with the Boys during the results show of Dancing With the Stars.

Disney’s Port Orleans French Quarter is not a real visit to the “Big Easy”, but the building facades, wrought-iron balconies and colorful New Orleans Mardi Gras style decorations does invoke a southern, warm and visually detailed environment that comes real close Disney style. This was our first time at POFQ and I guarantee no matter what, the fresh, hot Beignets will draw us to this resort again and again.
