Sorry to be the bearer of bad news here. But The Walt Disney Company’s current long-range plans for Mickey Mouse (at least the most recent version of this Mouse House manifesto, anyway) don’t include any new theatrical shorts for this much beloved character.

And Decadent Dave would never be the same. The film went on to make a disappointing $33 million dollars with a 17 million dollar budget. The film was one of a collection of underwhelming box office performers greenlit by Ron Miller. This was another nail in the coffin of Miller's career as head of the studio/company.

A Grand Balloon Disney Parks Blog
Talk about something you don’t see every day – here’s an image of a 100-foot-tall tall Mickey Mouse “Happiest Balloon on Earth,” and it’s about 2000ft in the Grand Canyon! It was certainly one of the coolest things that I’ve had a chance to photograph as a Cast Member.
