Kids today with their high-tech games and gadgets have no appreciation for minimalism in toy design. Case in point--wonderful king-size latex toys from the height of the baby boom. Remember! If it was advertised on the back page of a comic book, you could be guaranteed it was a quality product. At least that was the argument we made to our parents when attempting to cajole the $1.25 needed for the order.

You can drop off your toilet trained kids at the Contemporary Resort child-care all day, while you enjoy the Magic Kingdom, Treasure Island and the World Cruise . While you're at it, be sure to visit the Top of the World or any of the fine dining at the Disney Village.

2719 HYPERION: Make-Your-Own Pizza!
In the mid-1970s, the Magic Kingdom was usually open from 10:00am until 6:00pm. This left plenty of time for other evening activities. The Disney Village was open until 10:00pm every night and most of the resorts offered late evening activities and dining.

The following video clip from Youtube is a gem from 1982. Presented is the opening five minutes of One Man's Dream, a 1982 production that looked at Walt Disney's life from the earliest animation to the opening of EPCOT Center. In essence, EPCOT Center was seen as the completion of One Man's Dream.
