Fishing has been part of the Disney experience way before even Disneyland opened. Mickey and friends have always fond of fishing, which was a wonderful outlet for fun and humor. Add the emphasis on water throughout Walt Disney World; it should be no surprise that Walt and the Disney Imagineers provided dock and boat fishing opportunities for all guests of most ages and all skill levels. One of the great features of a WDW vacation is the ability for resort guests to use the wide range of Disney transporation to get from one place to the next. Of course, it's not always the best choice, but for most visitors, we leave the driving to Disney.
