Earth Day At DAK: Save Money By Celebrating Less Common Holidays at WDW.
When I tried to talk my husband into a family trip to Walt Disney World for Earth Day, I got "the eyebrow" but there are many special days to enjoy at Walt Disney World when the crowds are not at level 9 or 10, and all of these are during Value Season. The character "meal" that is kid-friendly, because the meal is s'mores, and parent friendly, because the price is "free" (plus supplies) and no advance dining reservation is required. A great arrival day activity. Keep an eye out for a prop from Pete's Dragon. If you don't have a bag of marshmallows you can purchase a kit from the snack bar for a nominal fee (under $10).
