During my youth I spent many a summer riding my bike and splashing in the water at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort Campground. Set within 750 acres of beautiful pine and cypress forest Disney's Fort Wilderness is a year round retreat for good old fashioned family fun.

Just a short boat ride away from the Wilderness Lodge lies one of my favorite "secret" Disney restaurants, the Trails End at Fort Wilderness. With it's hearty down home cooking and easy on the budget prices Trails End offers a meal that just about anyone will enjoy.

Last week, we talked about the galleries at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and what they meant to the park and guest experiences. Today, we’re looking at another gallery that is so far off the beaten path, that I’m fairly certain it is hardly ever appreciated for the jewel that it is. For this exploration, we’re venturing back to my old stomping grounds of Fort Wilderness.

If you’re looking for the perfect spot to roast some marshmallows or create some s’mores, there really is no better spot than the campfire show held in the Meadows area of Fort Wilderness.
