Last week I shared some rarely seen photos of baseball legends at Disneyland park. Today, following the public portion of the All-Star parade, we welcomed the 2010 All-Star teams down Main Street, U.S.A., right before the start of the big game. It was a great afternoon and I saw more than a few baseball fans along our parade route enjoying themselves.

Walt Disney’s first business was ‘the pictures’. One of his ideas for a movie was a picture that could take hold of all 5 of the audiences senses and bring them to a far-off place. While technology was not ready for Walt’s vision (but later seen at attractions such as It’s Tough to be a Bug at Animal Kingdom), his 5 senses movie idea was instead created for the entrance to the first park at WDW, the Magic Kingdom.

I know like most people you have an idea what you like to do when you head to the Disney Parks. Most people try to squeeze out a couple rides on the the Big Name Attractions before the park really gets busy. Some people just go with the flow of people around the park. Other people buy guide books that teach them how to avoid...

Flame Tree BBQ will be down for refurb from Aug. 9th - Sept. 19th. (BTW...totally a sidenote...something that just sort of puzzled me a bit...but who's the genius who decided to close this for refurb during FREE DINING?!)
