Disney’s released another gift card discount package for stays in 2011. With this package, guests who book a full price 5-day/5-night package with the Walt Disney Travel Company may be eligible to receive a Disney gift card in the following amounts.

Disney announced three new promotions this morning. The first is a percent off the per night rack rates similar to the summer promotion. The second is an extension of the Free Disney Dining Plan we are all familiar with in the summer months. The third is a gift card worth up to $500 based on the level of the resort you are staying at.

Disney's "A Christmas Carol" train is in Chicago this weekend at the Union Station. We visited the train and the preview yesterday. I must say that Disney must be spending a lot of money to do this kind of promotion. It certainly was impressive enough to make the trip to downtown Chicago on a Saturday morning worthwhile.
