I have a funny story to share about the Kilimanjaro Safaris tour. We had heard so much about the amazement we would feel while viewing these wonderful creatures that inhabit Animal Kingdom. So with Jerry taking the pictures on the digital camera and me recording the entire venture, guess what – I can barely recall what I saw without the assistance of our media!

Ok, so who hasn’t heard of the whole phenomenon of Disney’s Pin Trading?!?! Well it doesn’t matter if you have or have not become familiar with it to read about our adventures. I’m going to to tell you our experience with it and would love to hear about yours!

I had some time last night to peruse my latest issue of Family Fun magazine. With two young children, I always find something of use to craft, make, bake and taste! I’ll admit, I do enjoy seeing all the Disney characters in the array of advertisements in the issues. One advertisement jumped out at me and screamed – share this with your Disney4dads readers!

So you plan and plan, make lists, pack, plan more, remember something to put on the list – you get the point. It takes a village to prepare for your Disney trip. Sorry, couldn’t help myself just then. Back to business. It’s entirely possible, but hopefully not probable, that you may encounter a dreary weather day during your vacation at Disney World. This is not a crisis. I repeat, this is not a crisis.

Often at Disney World we are rushed and burdened with schedules and dining plans but, we miss the subtle things that the Imagineers put in for guests to enjoy. Take the time to take it in.

Myself, I would like to be able to have a “ friends and family” weeklong get together at The Wilderness Lodge with park passes for everyone. I have several friends and family that would never be able to go and experience the “Magic” without a little help. As a bonus, throw in a few guided behind the scenes tours, character dinners, free swag, line cutter passes, etc. Is that too much to ask?
