One of the most consistent features you run across, or over, or through, as you visit the Walt Disney World Resort is the presence of water everywhere you go. From the Seven Seas Lagoon to the hazards on the Fantasia miniature golf course, water is an ever present design element at the resort.

Debuting in the summer 1983, it was the second fireworks spectacular to run at EPCOT and featured classical music. The show featured floating barges that held rear-projection screens onto which these cels were projected onto throughout the show.

Sanaa’s is the newest restaurant to open at The Walt Disney World Resort and its cuisine is a melting pot of tastes from the islands of the Indian Ocean that all are part of Africa – Zanzibar, the Seychelles, Comoro Islands, Mauritius and Madagascar.

The Walt Disney World Resort is home to Disney’s Wide World of Sports and in recent years has been growing its sports-centric business through events and celebrations. The most recent expansion of these is the endurance races that will test the limits of Disney athletes.

I love books. I owned a bookstore, with my brothers, years ago yet my love for them goes back to my childhood; as does my love for all things Disney. So, when Disney Editions releases a wonderful collection of material from the Disney Archives, The Disney Keepsakes, you can bet that I am one happy camper.

So the premiere of the newest stage show at the Magic Kingdom bowed today. Stitch’s Supersonic Celebration takes place in Tomorrowland at the Magic Kingdom and combines singing, dancing and an interactive Stitch on the big screen.

Beginning May 15, the three characters will make regular meet-and-greet appearances for guests inside the theme park’s “Magic of Disney Animation” attraction. “UP,” the 10th film from Disney-Pixar, debuts in U.S. theaters nationwide on May 29, 2009.
