Starting up after a 2 week trip to California. While at the Disney Show, I purchased a small selection of slides. These three slides which feature the early Frontierland were part of the grouping. Unfortunately the photographer did not have the best focus, but the views are still good.

From September 30, 1955, is this industrial bulletin from Todd Shipyards. The bulletin details the work Todd did for Disneyland. Todd constructed the Mark Twain hull, the Mark Twain paddle, the Graving Dock (Fowler's Harbor) and the rigging for the Chicken of the Sea Restaurant ship.

The creation of the crocodiles that are always looking for a hand out. I believe this is Bob Mattey working on the jaw of the crocodile. From the angle of the photo, it appears he is doing his best impression of an alligator wrestler.

stuff from the park: Small Vintage Sketches of Disneyland
The sketches were purchased from the daughter of one of the main importers of souvenirs for Disneyland. I am not sure if larger paintings were executed of the sketches, or if they were actually used on merchandise. The sketches measure approximately 2 by 2 inches in size and are well done.

Here is an interesting publicity photograph. Interesting because the photo shows the parade with the lights on, but with no parade cast members. I like that you can see all the various floats. I believe this image dates from the late 1970s or early 1980s.

Vaya Con Dios Betty Kimball
From Ward and Betty's estate is this collection of postcards from Ward's trip to Greenfield Village in 1948 with Walt. Ward and Walt visited this museum in Detroit on their way back home from the Chicago Railroad Fair.
