"That 70's Sleeping Beauty" Returns to Fantasyland
I had a very pleasant surprise yesterday, while visiting Disneyland. I wandered into the Enchanted Chamber shop located inside Sleeping Beauty Castle and this is what I found......the Princess Aurora figure and her "prince" from the old Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-thru have returned!

The Rivers of America at Disneyland were recently filled after being drained for for several months. I had a chance to stop by the park today and check it out. This Disneyland advertisement is from the Los Angeles Times and is dated July 20, 1986....25 years ago! I'm a little confused by the text at the bottom, stating that Magic Journeys was still playing. I know that Captain EO premiered at Disneyland in September of 1986......

Haunted Mansion - 42nd Anniversary!
Today, in honor of the Haunted Mansion's 42nd anniversary, we have yet another item from my childhood. It's the Disneyland Record and Book, "Walt Disney Presents The Haunted Mansion" from 1970. This is a "little" long playing record and has a different story and different artwork than the larger LP that was sold around the same time (the one with Ron Howard voicing one of the characters). ........
