As they did with Remy, Pixar is considering bringing Luxo Jr., the loveable lamp, to life. All speculation now, but if it happens, he'll be in Disney Hollywood Studios.

To benefit the San Francisco AIDS Foundation, the director of Up has prepared a sketch of the movie’s star Carl Fredricksen! The drawing is on Pixar letterhead using marker, signed and dated June 9, 2009. You can own this piece by bidding for it on eBay.

Effects Supervisor on Up, Gary Bruins, will be in Southern California this week, sponsored by the Visual Effects Society, to talk about behind the scenes work at Pixar. This event will be held at Gnomon School of Visual Effects in Hollywood on Thursday, August 13th.
