The Disney Wedding Blog: Reminder: Stay Out of Florida Lakes!
I've been seeing a trend, lately, of wedding parties, disneymooners, or trash-the-dress sessions doing things that involve getting into the lakes on Walt Disney World property. Many of these lakes have signs that warn against swimming in the lake, but I feel like many vacationers believe that the warnings are just for gators and other sharp-toothed critters, so dipping in the occasional toe or taking a quick swim is no big deal.

The Disney Wedding Blog: Games For Your Disney-Themed Bridal Shower
like the decorations and the favors and the yummy food and all the chatting, but I really have a hard time with most shower games. I've had to do everything from making toilet paper wedding gowns to picking a plastic ring out of a "wedding cake" made out of bleached flower...with my teeth!

The Disney Wedding Blog: How to Be a Healthy Bride at Walt Disney World
Many brides who get married at Walt Disney World arrive at least a few days before their wedding. Brides use this time to catch up with family, nail down last minute details, enjoy festivities like welcome parties and rehearsal dinners, or just play in the parks with their soon-to-be husbands.

The Disney Wedding Blog: How to Choose an Accent Color for Your Disney Wedding
If sticking to one color sounds a little boring, you can definitely punch it up by adding an accent color. An accent color is a color you use to add a little something to your main color. Usually, the accent color is used a bit less than the main color, so that the wedding isn't overwhelmed.

Letter from the Editor: Choosing Your Vendors
As you guys know, I like to use these "Letter from the Editor" posts to talk in depth about subjects that are important to me. Today's letter is one I hope you'll take the time to read, especially if you're still planning your big day, because it's an issue that seems to have really become something of a problem in our little Disney wedding community.

The Disney Wedding Blog: Dos and Don'ts of Working with Your Wedding Vendors
Do:
* Double check with Disney before hiring outside vendors to make sure there won't be any problems. Disney has special rules regarding outside vendors (such as no outside photographers for events that take place inside the theme-parks), so it's a good idea to check in with them before you put down a deposit with a non-Disney vendor. Don't worry, they won't try to pressure you into using a Disney vendor instead.

The Disney Wedding Blog: This Week It's All Disney All the Time!!
Welcome to a new week here on The Disney Wedding Blog! I'm hoping that you're out and about enjoying the 4th of July. We're about to leave for a barbecue, but I just couldn't take off without sharing the awesomeness of this new week with you.
It's true that it's usually pretty Disney-ish around here, but after last week's baby shower detour, I thought that we could use some super-Disney-infused posts.
